TRENCHLESS MIDDLE EAST showcases the biggest international show in its history
The eighth in the TRENCHLESS MIDDLE EAST series held in Dubai, 18-19 March presented the biggest event in its history, showcasing a wide range of trenchless technology showcased by over 100 companies.
Exhibitors were drawn from the UAE, the GCC countries, USA and Russia. In addition, there was a significant presence from European countries including those participating in the German Pavilion. The exhibition was busy with a steady flow of visitors drawn from several countries and the majority of exhibitors reporting a high level of interest and optimism for future business as a direct result of the show. There was also evidence that negotiations for equipment sales were also sealed at the show.
The Conference programme also attracted its highest attendance of 285 delegates. A keynote presentation was made by ISTT’s past chairman, Dr Dec Downey. The first day presented a wide range of papers both on New Construction techniques, as well as Rehabilitation, while day 2 continued with more papers on the Rehabilitation theme.
Event Director Paul Harwood comments, “We are delighted to have presented a truly international event once again at TRENCHLESS MIDDLE EAST this year. This is the only event dedicated to this specialised market in the region and we welcome the excellent support from our exhibitors and sponsors, as well as the municipalities and utility companies who signed up to attend the conference and exhibition.”
